About me
Alas, I will never have nice, manicured nails…
As a maker and a grower at heart, Harvest Jewelry is a way to bring together my Fine Art degree and my love of plants, gardening, and getting my hands dirty.
I am learning to preserve the beauty of the smallest, quietest things around us.
When I began looking for plants, I began to observe differently- watching the unfurling of a fiddlehead over time, or working around the small spider that has made a home between the buttercup stems (she’s been there all summer).
Learning to harvest and preserve botanicals has definitely been a steep learning curve, but more importantly, it has been a gift in reminding me to slow down, pay attention and tread carefully. Seriously. We’ve gotta look out for the bees.
